Thotar will give you a series of 3 taming rods, each one is different and enables you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and at last an Armored Scorpid.

After getting done the taming Element of The search chain, WoW Classic Level 10 Pet Quest for Horde you must head to Orgrimmar and talk to Ormak Grimshot from the Valley of Honor so that you Source can unlock your companion pet managing skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
